DR. ANTONIO BISHOP
Dr. Antonio Bishop is a native of Portsmouth, Virginia. His parents are the late Travis Bishop, Judy Faye Moore and Mr. Lewis Kevin Moore. He is married to Angela M. Bishop and is the father of four children, LaShawnda, Antonio Jr., Destiny, and James.
Dr. Bishop founded the Anointed Word Ministries in 1998 and was ordained as an elder by Bishops Huie L. and Michael J. Rogers of the Bibleway Churches Worldwide in 1999.
Dr. Antonio Bishop is a learned minister. He has studied at Norfolk State University and the Christian Life School of Theology. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science, a Mastor of Arts degree in Special Education and a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Norfolk State University. Dr. Bishop also matriculated a Master's degree in Divinty from Virginia Union University School of Theology.
Dr. Bishop went on to further his education by matriculating a Doctorate of ministry degree at the Christian Life School of Theology. He has completed his certification in Substance Abuse Counseling from Old Dominion University. Dr. Bishop has also completed four units of Clinical Pastoral Education for the Tidewater District of the Full Gospel Batist Fellowship of Churches.
Dr. Antonio Bishop is anointed to send a rhema word for the 21st century church and society. For the word states in Daniel 11:32b, "but the people that do know their God shall be strong and do exploits." Dr. Bishop's goal is to empower the people of God to possess the promises of God.
